Engelska – English

Welcome!

This is a translated summary of who we are and what we do. Unfortunately the members of the association generally only master Swedish and English. The association has had help translating this text. The idea behind the translation is to make basic information about the association available to more people.

At our activities we use Swedish and to some extent English. If you want more information you are welcome to contact us via email or telephone. Swedish or English will work fine.

Welcome to RFSL Luleå och norra Norrbottens län!

RFSL was formed in 1950 and is therefore one of the world’s oldest organisations of its kind. RFSL has about 30 local branch around the country and about 6000 members (2014). RFSL’s full name was originally Riksförbundet för sexuellt likaberättigande but as of 2014 the name is RFSL – Riksförbundet för homosexuellas, bisexuellas, transpersoners och queeras rättigheter.

RFSL works for homosexuals, bisexuals, transpersons and other people with queer expressions and identities having equal rights, opportunities and obligations as others. The work for this is done through political influence, information work, social meeting places and supporting activity.

Here on our wedsite you will find information about what RFSL Luleå och norra Norrbottens län are doing in the county and about the associations current activities.

If you are interested in any of our training programmes, you are welcome to email us at lulea@rfsl.se.

Do you want to become a member of our association and support our work? Follow the instructions (unfortunately only available in Swedish) at “Bli medlem – membership“. Do you want to become involved in our work? Contact us at lulea@rfsl.se
